- A full time employee of the tenant must be on site during the entire move, all moves must be scheduled in the evening or on weekends.
- Times of moves must to be approved in advance with the building engineer.
- Tenant will be responsible for any damage to the building incurred during the move operation. As such, you are to provide a certificate of insurance from your vendor covering the move. Your moving contractor should be instructed to do the following:
- Pad or otherwise protect all entrances affected by the move.
- Use masonite or comparable material on all floor and wall surfaces over which the move takes place.
- Immediately report any problems, which may affect the building.
- Remove all packing cartons from the building after the move operation is completed. Building trash removal contractors are not equipped for handling such bulky debris.
- Elevator floors, walls and entrance area must be protected.
- Homosote or padding should be placed around columns, corners and marble walls.
- Please direct your staff to collapse all cartons and stack them in your suite to be removed from the building at one time.
- No staging will be permitted. Items must be brought directly from the truck to the suite during a move in and from the suite directly to the truck during move outs. Using the loading dock, elevator lobbies or any other public area as a staging area will not be permitted.
- A building engineer must be on site to supervise during all moves. Tenants will be charged a fee of $65.00 per hour with a 4 hour minimum for all moves.
- All moves must go through the buildings loading dock. Nothing is to go through the buildings lobby.
- Tenant and contractor will abide by all parking rules and regulations of the property.
- Contractor’s and employees will conduct themselves in a manner appropriate to business surrounding and , accordingly, they:
- Shall refrain from using vulgar language or shouting so as not to disturb other tenants of the building.
- Shall not use alcohol or drugs at the building or on the property.
- Shall not play radios in the public areas or outside the building.
- Shall not eat or take breaks in the front of the building or eat in any common areas of the building.
- Shall not visit or wander through locations in the building other then the Premises except when reasonably necessary to complete the tenants work.
- Shall perform the tenant work in a manner that does not deface, destroy, or otherwise disturb the building or property, the sidewalks and other improvements in the building or on the property. All work areas, including delivery paths, damaged or soiled during construction shall be replaced or restored to original condition at the tenant’s expense.
